NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

If you have any items you would like to see addressed at the Annual General Meeting, please contact one of the Board members prior to the meeting so that your question can be answered to the fullest.
If you can not attend the meeting, please fill out your proxy and give it to a Board member.
Dear Members
The 2011 season at the pool was a great success. Families enjoyed the pool activities and a chance to catch up with neighbours and friends. We had a great team of guards who kept the pool running like clock-work.
The adult party was a success with an excellent turn out and not a drop of rain this year to spoil the fun.
I would personally like to thank all of the Board members for their hard work this year. In particular I would like to thank Koren Brett who will be stepping down as secretary, we wish her well in her new ventures in Calgary. We are looking for a replacement for Koren, if you are interested in getting involved and giving back to UBHA#1 then please contact Koren or myself.

If we do not get enough proxies we will be unable to continue with our plans for the season ahead.

I am a resident of Upper Beechwood, and am sending you this message in hopes that you can help with my fundraising for the nationally recognized 2012 Ride to Conquer Cancer. It is a 2 day bike journey over 200+km with all funds going towards fighting cancer. One of my fundraising initiatives is to help people shovel their driveways for donations. It wouldn’t make sense for me to travel a long distance just to shovel driveways. That’s why I’m targeting my neighbourhood, and hoping I will meet some new people in the area!Thanks for your support!
